A varietal is a wine that is made from a single grape or is primarily made from one grape. To be considered a varietal, a wine must be at least 75% of a specific grape. A great class to get oriented with single varietal wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Zinfandel, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Riesling. Tasting of 10 wines.
